The side panel can be lifted on its own however, it's not recommended as this increases the risk of your child falling out of the cot. The safety locking system guarantees that the side panel will only remain in place if it's connected correctly to the mattress of the parent. This feature is fantastic for peace of mind if you breastfeed and require frequent feedings at night.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be compatible with any bed that is divan-based as well as beds with drawers thanks to the telescopic legs.
