It is also lightweight and easy to move around during naps or when traveling.
It's made of soft materials and has mesh sides that breathe to increase airflow. It is available in charcoal or oak and a range of melange fabrics that will blend with a variety of styles. Anna found that it was sturdy and secure once attached to her bed. The legs clicked into place and the zippers were secure to ensure safety. It took her about 10 minutes to assemble it and did not require tools, and comes with clear instructions and a video or support number available if you have any problems.
Alongside the usual features you'd expect from a bedside crib such as the ability to attach to your existing bed with a stay-in-place connector system and six levels of height, the CoZee has an additional incline option which can be used to help alleviate reflux or congestion in infants. It's also machine-washable, a necessity with all the dribble, vomit and snot that comes with having a newborn!
If you want to keep your baby close during the first six months when they're learning to sleep independently and independently, the CoZee is a great choice as it can also be used as a separate cot, changing table and toddler bed. The side panel can be lifted on its own however, it's not recommended as this increases the risk of your child falling out of the cot. The safety locking system guarantees that the side panel will only remain in place if it's connected correctly to the mattress of the parent. This feature is fantastic for peace of mind if you breastfeed and require frequent feedings at night.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be compatible with any bed that is divan-based as well as beds with drawers thanks to the telescopic legs. It comes with a tilting function for reflux babies, and the ability to rock to calm them after a meal. It's also very spacious and has excellent ventilation due to its mesh sides.
Our test participants found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, though it comes with a long instruction manual.
